2018 Calendars Personalized with Your Photos and Text

 PERSONALIZED 2018 CALENDARS

Now is the perfect time to get a 2018 calendar so you can stay organized in the new year. Every fall, I update the calendar selection in my FancyCelebration store on Zazzle. This year, I've organized all the calendars into a collection so you can see them all more easily in one place.

THE 2018 CALENDAR COLLECTION contains traditional wall calendars with easy templates for your photos, along with fridge magnets, posters, mousepads, and a few other product types. The designs range from simple (think: plain, bold white calendar numbers on a black background) to ornate (such as the new Victorian-inspired design shown below).

Some work great for businesses. You can even add your business name and website to them. Others are perfect for your fridge at home, with room for a collage of family pictures.

What's more, this time of year, you can probably get them on sale. Under each product in the collection, it will show you what % off they are and what promo code to use.

HERE ARE A FEW HIGHLIGHTS FROM THE 2018 COLLECTION

1. This design is brand-new this year, and I had the most fun making it! I love the new PBS show Victoria, and thought I'd make a calendar fit for a queen. Here it is on a refrigerator magnet, with all its flowers and flourishes. You can even add your name and more text to personalize it:


2. This classic mousepad has easy-to-read calendar numbers and room for three of your pictures at the top. (The little doggie in the sample photo in the top left is named Booger, by the way). The templates make it easy for you to add your photos:

3. Here is one of the photo collage wall posters. This one has room for your text along the bottom, too, and then numbers are in red and white.


4. This wall calendar makes it easy for you to add your family pictures in front of festive background patterns. Each month has a different border behind your photo.

5. New to the collection this year are acrylic blocks you can display on your desk. This striped floral one is very elegant-looking (and easily personalized with your name and business title):

Happy Cyber Monday! I haven't updated the blog for awhile. I've been so busy making new designs and promoting on Pinterest. Since we're getting close to Christmas, I thought it was time to share some gift idea lists here. I've been building Pinterest lists of Christmas gift ideas by price point, interest and person.

The $10 and under list is the most complete, so I'll share it first. So far, the list contains 200+ Christmas gift ideas, all under $10. There's a wide selection of products with themes ranging from personalized to funny to practical.

Funny 4th of July T-Shirts on Amazon and Zazzle

4TH OF JULY T-SHIRTS FOR YOUR INDEPENDENCE DAY PARTY

4th of July is coming up in a couple of weeks! I can't wait for fireworks, watermelon, drinks and relaxing with family and friends. It's my 2nd favorite holiday - because it happens in the summer and you're under no obligation to buy gifts, so it's not as stressful as Christmas. The only holiday I like better is Halloween because of all the candy and creative costumes. 

I decided it was about time I showed off some of my 4th of July work here - particularly t-shirts. I've already shown off the party invitations in a post here.

Great American Total Solar Eclipse Viewing Party Supplies

CELEBRATE AUGUST 21 2017 WITH THIS FUNNY ECLIPSE PARTY COLLECTION

In case you didn't know yet, most of the United States is in for a treat on August 21st when a total solar eclipse is visible across America. It's being called the "Great American Eclipse" and everyone is eager to travel to a good viewing spot. I can't imagine a more fun time to gather your friends and family together for a party. I usually try to steer clear of designing for occasions that will quickly pass; I prefer designs with more staying power. But I simply couldn't resist making a party collection for the eclipse because it's too exciting. Besides, another eclipse is right around the corner in 2024. So, this set will be relevant again in 7 short years. :)  

Without further adieu, here is the collection. It was inspired by pop music. The woman in the design rides the moon as if it's a wrecking ball, as it blocks the Sun from Earth's view. The text says, "It came in like a blocking ball. We couldn't see the Sun at all." I've been obsessed with mid-century modern design lately - particularly Saul Bass's Hitchcock movie posters - so I gave it a fun retro look.

4th of July Party Invitations with Easy Templates

NEW INDEPENDENCE DAY PARTY INVITES

I don't know about you, but I had a fun Memorial Day weekend full of family time, grilled food and sunshine. I was thinking, "How could this be any better?" And the answer was, "It could include fireworks and watermelon." Which is why I'm so excited that the 4th of July is right around the corner. Last year, I made my very first party invitations for Independence Day. Since I had a long list of ideas, I decided to design more this year.

These are the ones that I made last year. I did a funny typography design and made it available in a template for a general party and a BBQ:

3. This year, I decided to add more humor, since the Fourth of July is a happy holiday. I knew I wanted to make an invite with an eagle. I decided to go kitschy with this one and overdo all the stereotypes about the holiday. So, here you have a bald eagle holding a beer and a sparkler while riding a bottle rocket and wearing a patriotic headband and legwarmers with a matching "USA" tank top. This eagle is ready to celebrate!


4. I decided to have some fun with George Washington, too. Some George Washing-FUN:

5. Don't Knock It 'Til You Rocket! This one is colorful with lots of fireworks:


6. I knew I wanted to make a retro invitation. It's fun to imagine going to a party during the Mad Men era. I designed this one to look like an invite you might receive in the 50s or early 60s. And yes, the guy is smiling while he holds a lit firework in his hand. People just didn't know the danger back then!


7. Finally, since I love anything associated with the beach, I made this pretty one for a seaside 4th of July party. It can also be for a pool party (you can change the words). I love how the colors turned out on this:
